← Back to AnjaanA good conversation starts with respect.
Anjaan is for adults aged 18 and over. These rules apply to voice, text, and every interaction on the service. Agree to them before you start matching.
Adults only
Do not use Anjaan if you are under 18. Do not involve minors in conversations, solicit contact with minors, or share content that sexualises or exploits a child. Leave and report a conversation if you believe a participant is underage. The age checkbox is self-attestation, not identity or age verification.
Be decent to the person on the other side
- No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, intimidation, hate speech or discrimination.
- No sexual content, unwanted sexual remarks, sexual requests, coercion or exploitative interactions.
- No violent threats, encouragement of harm, glorification of abuse, or instructions to hurt yourself or someone else.
- No material or activity that exploits people or facilitates illegal conduct.
A conversation is a choice
- Greet people respectfully, listen, and let them decide what they want to share.
- Respect a no, a muted microphone, or someone leaving or skipping. Nobody owes you a reply or a continued conversation.
- Do not pressure someone for their real name, contact details, photos, location, private conversations or a move to another service.
- Do not record, screenshot, publish or redistribute a private conversation without the other participant’s consent. Anjaan does not record voice; it cannot prevent another person from recording.
Protect privacy
- No doxxing: do not share another person’s phone number, address, location, identity documents or other private information.
- Keep passwords, OTPs, PINs, payment details, financial information and identity documents out of chat.
- Do not impersonate another person, Anjaan staff, a public official or a professional in order to deceive someone.
No scams or disruption
- No fraud, phishing, malicious links, requests for money, commercial solicitation, spam or repeated unwanted messages.
- No bots, automated matching or messaging, abusive traffic, or attempts to interfere with the service.
- Do not try to evade safety restrictions, exploit vulnerabilities, or target a person who has blocked you.
- Use reports for genuine concerns. Do not make false reports, coordinate harassment, or misuse reporting because someone declined a conversation.
If something feels wrong
End or skip the chat. Use Report and block to flag a rule violation. Reporting ends the conversation, blocks the other anonymous session, and saves the reason and up to 50 recent text messages for human review for up to 30 days. Voice is not recorded or included in the report.
This is an early beta. There is no guarantee of immediate review or action, and this is not an emergency response service. A session block can be bypassed by changing browsers or clearing cookies. Do not rely on the report button for an emergency; seek appropriate local help if there is an immediate danger.
These are participation rules, not a promise that every participant will follow them. You can leave at any time.
