Say hello without saying it out loud.
Anjaan connects two adults in a one-to-one text chat. There is no signup, profile or microphone prompt when you start in Text mode.
StartConfirm you’re 18+, choose Text and tap Meet someone. If there is no compatible stranger waiting, you can keep the search open or cancel.
Move onYou can leave or look for another stranger when a conversation is not working. There is no friend list or saved chat history to come back to later.
Can a text chat become a call?
Yes, if both people want that. Tap Voice to send an invitation. The other person can join voice or stay on text; while they decide, you can keep typing. Anjaan asks for microphone permission only when you start a voice search or agree to join voice.
Once voice starts, the Text tab stays available for messages. Switching to it does not end the call. There is no automatic transcription: what you say aloud is not turned into text.
Keep the chat comfortable
Share only what you would be comfortable telling someone you have just met. Avoid phone numbers, addresses and financial details. If a person is abusive, use Report and block. Reporting ends the room and sends recent messages and your selected reason for human review.
Text travels through Anjaan’s server and may be visible to authorised operators investigating abuse. It is not a private encrypted messenger. Read the privacy details and community rules for the full limits.
